Annick Goutal is not only a perfume maker but was also a known pianist and model. Although she had flourished a little late, still her perfumes were one of a kind and were never hated. She was also lucky to obtain her father’s manual facility and that had helped her in packaging her perfumes elegantly.
One of the first three fragrances she released was Folavril, Passion and Eau d’Hadrien. All had gathered praises both from her loyalist and friends. Passion is the personal perfume she uses. One thing that is unique in her perfume creation is that each scent she created has a significant memory or meaning to her. Like her perfume Eau de Camille, her inspiration to this is her daughter Camille when she requested to have a scent similar with the ivy. She did not disappoint her child and blended honeysuckle with the smell of freshly cut grass.
Her perfume Eau de Charlotte was inspired by her stepdaughter Charlotte. If Eau de Camille was a little naïve and youthful eau de Charlotte was a little sophisticated. It is a mixture of cocoa and mimosa making it a bit more gourmand. Of course his husband has a perfume created specially for him and Annick called it Sables.
